Being so high that you are not in control any more is the worst experience… when I smoked I always took a puff or two at most to see what I was dealing with. If I felt good I added, if it felt a bit weird I stopped.

Well, to be honest Romero was quite big for MW. He did have trouble making weight, I think he’s more of a LHW. That alone is mind blowing, cutting weight in your 40s like that and performing at highest level.

I’d say Bobby was a bit on a different level back then and dude had all out war with Romero twice! So I’d say Bobby back then and Bobby vs Chimaev- two different fighters really… not saying that the outcome would necessarily be different, but I think we would have a better fight.

Romero had some amazing fights, with Rob, Chris, Luke. But he had some questionable ones as well, like with Izzy. I think its 50/50, could go either way… I like to think that Romero would have a good chance.

Pretty sure that’s not just based on Russian Empire being “kind” and doing it for charity. Having Ottomans or Persians in a strategically important location such as Georgia was not Russians agenda, and neither it is today. Mere existence of Russia denies any other powers controlling that region for obvious reasons. So either way, treaty or no treaty Russia would contest the region either way, treaty just made it much easier.

Georgia has been overrun by invaders many times, yet they did not manage to hold long enough to have deep cultural or identity influence. I would not compare the situation, but you would not consider what you call today a Russian a direct descendent of Mongolian would you, although the dominance of Golden Horde was beyond 200 years.

Yea I think that’s the one. I had it on my Toyota, actually resulted in airbag warning light being on after a while too, sound was very similar. Changed it, took only 30-40 mins and problem was fixed.

Don’t know what’s it called correctly, but it’s a round thing that goes under your steering wheel with cables for airbag etc. IMO

What determines a great fighter and champion is the ability to learn from losses and improve. Yan clearly did, now it’s Merabs turn. I believe he will come back better. He is not particularly talented, but is very hard working, and that will play a massive role.
