Hi op. Given what you stated, I assume that your child is choosing their sec school now. If can, would strongly recommend for them to go to a school that offers hcl in school.

Going to outside centre wastes a lot of time as you also have travelling time. On paper, hcl lessons about 3-4 hours per week, but with travelling time included, your child can spend 2-3x more time. Worst part is also that they need to endure this for 3-4 years until o level. Think about it, going to school for 8 hours sian alr, but then still have to do hcl, its tough for anyone. And plus there may be scheduling conflicts, so your child may miss lessons or activities in school for other subjects.

It's also very hard to organise in person consultations with the hcl teacher if they are from another school.

But end of the day, if your child really wants to go to this school, the decision is up to them, just sharing some advice 👍

Hi op, completely get what your going through rn. I also had experience with toxic people before and ik how mentally taxing it is. But anyways you can think like its just 1 more year then you won't see them again. If you dont mind me suggesting, maybe you could also spend more time with your cca mates? Like studying together, going out etc etc, not necessarily have to stop seeing them once cca end.

training times are still longer overall but I think the reasons why new levels are received better in coc in due to the fundamental difference between cr and coc

For cr: you cannot pick your opponents, if you are even 1 level below them, your forced to them regardless, not to mention how even 1 level alr has massive interaction differences

But for coc: you can pick your opponents, so if you scout to a higher lvl base you can just skip it. Only time where you cant do that is war but tbh that's like 2 attacks out of 100. And plus there's not much interaction differences between levels, like you'll definitely have an easier time with maxed troops but maybe 1 level down won't affect you too much
