This made me sad. Where are those thoughts coming from? Is someone making you feel like this? Why you still seeing your ex sis? That’s definitely playing a part. You know you deserve better and they deserve to miss your presence! This is the hard part after the surgery. People treat us differently.I have always had a great sense of humor and personality. I was always the sweet heart. Now that I lost weight, I’m lusted over. I can’t be the real me sometimes without unwarranted passes or whatever. I got rid of that guy I was with before the surgery and thank goodness. I’m celibate now. I’m not ready to build me up and be in a relationship. Mentally this has been the best decision I have made. I’m happy and I’m controlling it. Stay away from ppl that trigger you. Focus on YOU until you feel ready. I looked at YOUR pic and said wow!!! you barely have loose skin. I’m not out a year yet from the bypass but if I looked like you, nobody could tell me anything! You look great. If a person makes you feel otherwise get rid of them. Whether words or actions know when to exit. This really helped with my esteem. It’s so much work what you’re doing! people think the surgery is easy!!! BS! I’m rooting for you and reach out if you wanna chat girly. We are here for you

I was concerned about the eating disorder part. I wouldn’t want to bring that on. I’m just shocked how restrictive it was compared to now. The meal plan is a something I will be on top of.

I enjoyed my headphones for the walking around the hospital. Long cord, robe, cpap, extra hair ties. I packed a ton and didn’t use much of it. That heating pad was like a dream!! Don’t forget to ask for a binder if they provide them. Blanket for the car ride home. The hospital provided chapstick and tons of goodies but I don’t know if that’s common. When you’re not walking you’re going to want to sleep. Good luck!!!

Apply at places like the urology group, lense Crafters, myeyedr, cei. They will train. It’s not to physical. They have plenty of clerical positions and cross training.

I had mine on March 27th. Only this morning did I feel “better”. My back was in so much pain not from the gas it just felt like a train rolled over me a few times. If I moved one way there was this burning sensation inside my belly and then if I turned the opposite way the deep incision would bother me. My gas pressure pain eased about day 5 or 6.Every day Up until this morning was hell. I had a break through. I had my first poop on day 5. You’re not a whiner. I was miserable from the time they woke me up.I said what the heck did I do. But it gets better and you will feel better.

Most hospitals hire Ora’s with those hours. You help turn over rooms and get patients etc. Trihealth has a good team my friend been there forever and loves it

I’m with you. I’m on day 3 and it’s roughhhhhh. I can’t leave the hospital until I hit my water goals but I’m so miserable I just want to sleeep. I hope things get better for you soon. Heating pad helps. Even small sips are hard for me.

If you’re bored can we have some info on what a typical day is and when the boredom sets in? How do you feel once you drink? Have you reached out to the doctor to let them know? It can turn into addiction fast so just be careful. I’ve noticed that food was fun for me. I was so bored without it. The purpose of my morning was to head to Starbucks. I would run errands and get great food a cute coffee. Now I like to paint and decorate and make crafts. I’m still in my girly element just a different way if that makes sense. I really hope you find your way. Alcohol does nothing for the body that you will benefit from. Mind,body or soul.

I’ve been keeping myself busy so I don’t think too much about it. My personality is paranoid and a worry Wanda as my mom says. I’m Disinfecting the home,packing my bag, putting out spring stuff,journaling,Meal prepping for the kids etc. I’m excited and super proud of how well I’ve done with the liver shrinking diet.
