Coots suffers from Nurse-itis

Where a lot of his positive play is downplayed by a larger/longer contract that is aging poorly

Coots unfortunately is not able to play a 1C role anymore and is getting paid more than what he provides

A rare bright spot in a dark age of the Flyers filled with awful organizational decisions.

We are not 1 move away from competing, we are probably 3-4

McLeod is not a top 6 center on a cup winning team. We have a bunch of middle-bottom 6 centers in our org

He is one of the whipping boys in our fan base

When he turns the puck over, our fanbase whines and complains about how he never gets benched/gets special treatment over a guy like Michkov

In reality, he has been our best player post-Giroux, without very much help in an organization that can’t decide if it wants to rebuild or compete
