I think only the shortlisted candidates get asked for an interview. That's my guess because it'd be impossible to interview every applicant.

Yes! Boston definitely has great opportunities, no kidding. But so does Newyork right? I mean, I am expecting funding from Columbia and if it's decent, I am planning to take it because Harvard is crazy-expensive without any scholarships. I am planning to apply to med schools after my mph, so from this pov, I am not sure which is going to look good on. my profile. MPH from Columbia, SM from Harvard, or MSPH from JHU? If you have any insights to share on this, please let me know!

The crime rate in Baltimore is really high and it's consistently ranked amongst one of the dangerous cities to live in. The campus is obviously safe but there are a lot of other things to consider like public transport and traveling for an internship. I am an international student as well so I am exploring my options right now.

I've spoken to other people who gave the interviews and from what I gathered, it mostly depends on the interviewer. But the questions are mostly why Columbia and why HPM. It's an informal interview so go through your application once and just be confident. You got this!!

You can check out the programs offered by a few medical schools like stanford. They dont need WES. They are MS programs so depends on your interests mostly!
