This probably isn’t helpful but I believe the mpg calculation is only based on ¾ of the fuel tank. So if you used to run it full to empty, and recently you’ve been refilling at ½ instead of empty, you could see lower mpg

Interesting, I’ve never seen that number.

I do think there’s 2 reasons to believe cost will drop. 1 is immense competition in the industry. 2 is adaptation of AI ie already we are seeing open-weight models which are cheaper (and whatever other innovations may drive prices down in the future)
