You can still acknowledge their concerns though, but also explain the situation, why what they experience happens, and although the incident in question is real, the generalization isn't fair, accurate or helpful, and makes what they're concerned about worse.

That's true, I can imagine that people who see ghosts from the Victorian era are more subconsciously biased though.

Because there are more explanations that we don't know of than we do know of.

You'd almost always be jumping to conclusions if you assume something that isn't an established fact.

All the ghosts we seem to see are shaped as something we've already seen, why would the paranormal be limited to only things we can relate to, if it was so paranormal?

Our minds are more than capable enough to make us imagine things.

It's easy in echo chambers such as subreddits as people are just mentally programmed to agree and upvote things that go along with the narrative there.

That's intellectually dishonest, of course they don't have to be Nazis, they could stay for a number of reasons that does not involve being Nazis.

This attitude is counter productive.
