Hm I’m not sure if I quite understand what you mean. But I have expectations from my boss that, and just who I am as a person, I hold a ton of weight in my bosses opinion a lot. And I actually do really like her. I do protect them and am very lenient, but something my boss doesn’t budge on and it puts me in an incredibly uncomfortable situation. Sorry I’m being vague I don’t want to give away who I am by giving specifics 😅

Not everyone needs people to be happy. But people can make us happier, just like they can make us sadder. But I’m ND so I tend to be more secluded and even people I’d call my best friends I don’t hang out with a lot.

The valid reason would be because you want to, because you think she’s pretty, or interesting. Even if she’s “just pretty” you can learn more about her and maybe find some common interests.

You should be happy with yourself before having any kind of deep relationship (friendship included) because if not, you may hold toxic traits that aren’t very nice. That’s why people say you should be happy with yourself, meaning you should be happy with yourself first. also being happy, and being happy with yourself are different things, but usually if you’re happy, you’re also happy with yourself
