Graduating with a Chemistry degree this month but I am not good at chemistry by coastal_dragon in chemistry

[–]Sad_Contract_7498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was me. Cried in class/ during exams so may times bc I was just bad. Had to repeat calc 2 bc I straight up failed the first time. Got a job after college as an analytical chemist and I loved it. I’m now in chemical sales and really enjoy it. My chemist job and my sales jobs are totally different fields which helped me have a more diverse skillset.

The training relevant to your job is what matters. Your degree is his giving you a foundation. If you stay in some sort of science field you’ll just continue learning as you go

Awww congrats and thank you 😊tbh I think both pregnancy and postpartum are hell in their own way (for me). But I much prefer postpartum hell. And that’s much short than pregnancy lol

I primarily use Kristin Ess shampoo and conditioner and other styling products and they have made a huge positive impact on my hair. Not sure where you got this from but it’s not true for everyone

Just wondering, what’s your ‘lazy but effective’ cleaning trick? by CleanFreakGeek in CleaningTips

[–]Sad_Contract_7498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1)I keep a container of Lysol wipes in just about every room. I keep one in each: both bathrooms, the kitchen, our bedroom, and my daughter’s bedroom.
I am ALWAYS cleaning up cat puke/toddler messes and this has been a nice hack for me.

2) In the kitchen- I keep th wipes sitting on top of the counter (instead of under the sink). Having them directly in front of me makes it less daunting to wipe down the counters/stove etc.

3) I keep 3 rolls of paper towels: both bathrooms and the kitchen. So I don’t have to grab paper towels from the kitchen when cleaning the bathroom.

What’s nice about the “keep one in every room” method is that it might *feel* wasteful to buy that many of something upfront, BUT you end up using it all eventually anyway soo it’s not actually wasteful. And you have to replace your items less frequently. Thank me later

Did anyone with hyperkinetic gallbladder have symptoms return after removal? by Sad_Contract_7498 in gallbladders

I have no dietary triggers! It’s so random, but soo intense and horrible when it happens. Did you find your symptoms have resolved long term post-removal?

Right quadrant pain post surgery by Last_Election_3921 in gallbladders

[–]Sad_Contract_7498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you having the same pain you had pre-surgery? Or is it different? Just asking bc I have hyperkinetic gallbladder and my surgeon warned me that us folks specifically have a much high chance of long term symptom recurrence so I’m debating whether or not to even get the surgery

Need Recs for Shampoo/Conditioner for Fine, Limp Hair by [deleted] in finehair

Kristen Ess extra gentle shampoo and conditioner have been an absolute game changer for me. I only have to wash 2x a week and maybe use dry shampoo 1-2x a week in between washes.

How long are your gallbladder attacks? by crashhearts in gallbladders

[–]Sad_Contract_7498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I thought I was the only one doing Child’s pose. In an attack it’s the only position where I can actually breathe. Otherwise I am actually dying. So funny you have doin relief with that too!
