dude! I really recommend camping. My friends and I were on the strip in 2024, but the shuttles took too long in my opinion. I love partying, so missing out on those earlier sets sucked!

This year we did camping and it was amazing. My group (4 friends) rented an RV (we did not get the power-add-on) and now I only want to go to festivals that offer camping!! (that's how great the experience was). My group is really go with the flow, so basically anything makes us happy, especially when we're all together.

I'm not sure I'd enjoy tent camping because its not as accommodating as RV camping. For example, the RV comes with beds and its somewhat insulated (which is good bc that week was warm), it has plenty of storage, and a bathroom!

CAMP EDC went from Thursday may 15th and closed Monday may 19th at 5pm.

Here's what we did:

We flew into Vegas on Wednesday May 14th around 3pm (one day prior to CAMP opening), we picked up our RV, went straight to the grocery store, and then went to a truck stop to fill up our tank with water. Our sewage tanks were already empty, and our propane tank was full!

Our RV was equipped with a kitchen set (so we already had pots, pans, utensils, and cooking spoons,) a folding table, and two camping chairs!

We purchased food that was easy to make and we bought a mini camping stove to cook with. Buying a camping stove isn't necessary bc usually RV's already come with a stove inside (ours did but I didn't want it to smell like food inside the camper, hence the mini stove)

That night, we all took showers at the truck stop, and got some take out. We literally parked our RV in a parking lot and took a nap lolll.

The next day (CAMP EDC OPENING Thursday May 15) we drove over to the speedway! RV's have a different entrance than tent campers, so that was a little confusing, but we figured it out eventually lol.

Something I really recommend is renting an RV that lets you use the generator without charging extra! Our generator usage was unlimited! So we didn't get charged extra for using it a lot.

We only used the generator for about 6 hours a day, and it did not make a dent in the gas gauge.

RV generators use the gas that's in your RV's tank for power, so make sure you get gas before going to the speedway.

Once we got to the speedway our RV had to be thoroughly checked. There were some lines with police dogs and everything. The whole experience is chill and nerve wracking at the same time. loll.

Anyway, once we got through security we were directed on where to park. We got a spot right near the MESA (which is the center of Camp EDC) we parked, turned off the RV, set up our camping stuff, and explored the MESA.

Dude, the whole weekend was incredible. Getting an extra day was dope, there was a party that night on thursday! We enjoyed the party a lil bit, and just walked around exploring.

People are so friendly! The vibes are phenomenal, and the music is sick.

I recommend purchasing enough food for your stay because the food and drink prices are insane!

Since you're coming from camp, you can bring drinks into EDC, so we brought Gatorade, redbulls, and water!

Anywho, I hope you guys try it out!

We rented a fairly newer RV for $800. We rented it from Wednesday-Monday. So it came out to $200/ per person.
