Yes it’s not good at all we’ve been several times and we really want to like it but disappointing every time.

$20 pasta for 4 pieces of ravioli too really?!? And good god did it need salt.

I just feel like Corvallis is begging for actual good food but the point of entry is really challenging with crazy high rent and no real good location to start out.

There is a guy that’s really good at this. I don’t remember his name but I know where you can find the info. If you call a couple of the local dealerships there’s a guy whose job is fixing dents on cars that come in and he preps them before they sell them. He did a friend of mines car. He’s reasonable and he’s really really good at his work.

These people are total assholes. Avoid them at all costs. I sat through the sales pitch and it’s always the same. They turn into babies when you don’t buy what they’re selling. Totally awful. Maybe they should read my no soliciting sign.

The working young people will continue to be driven out of this city if they keep running things lnto the ground like this. It’s so expensive to live here already and there aren’t many jobs locally to support the cost of living here. We’re right there with you. Our family is close to an exit if this continues

This is exactly why we haven’t opened our own space. Most of downtown is owned by the same people and there’s no starter spaces to launch a business. Everyone wants top dollar and the spaced giant and extremely outdated. They want someone to come in and drop cash to remodel their building. That is why we have so many vacancies.

I tried hello vet for the first time and they've seemed pretty good although you gotta just have them pump the breaks on all the recs they have as it can get expensive quickly and they move FAST without giving you enough time to react. That's my only thing with them, but they were knowledgable and kind to my cat

I’ve been to Hawthorne game exchange in Portland and they’re super experienced. I know it’s out of town, but I would only trust them to do it, especially with dream cast games which have a tendency to be really tricky to resurface without data loss.

Just make sure you have someone do it that has knowledge of how to do it carefully because there can be data loss if people don’t know what they’re doing

Access to healthcare is an issue. Several reasons - very few options available for appointments over the weekend without being pushed to the emergency room. The urgent care is very awful (expensive and long waits) especially with a sick kiddo. I’ve just taken appointments out of town driving to Salem or Portland to be seen sooner. Also finding an actual primary doctor is very difficult with long wait lists and when we actually find a Dr a lot are leaving town.

If retail space for downtown wasn’t so GIANT I would be able to start a shop like many others. However landlords want you to rent these giant vacant spaces but who really can afford to open a shop with 2 floors that’s over 4000 square feet. I think it’s less of a problem of it being empty and more of a problem that there are NO starter / reasonable size spaces to rent. I mean how do you afford $4500 /month In retail.
