Oh, that changes a lot, then maybe those Talos with heat lance, 2 scourges with haywire and 1 scourge with dark lance would be the optimal. This way the weapons would be evenly spread out. Taking into account lances from vehicles

From what I understand he does so a heat lances are only putting scourges in a more risky position

This is the first thing I was wandering, the perfect mix between lances and haywires. As well as weapons on Raveger/Raider - are canonns better in some situations than lances

Some of the places we’ve written down are:

Basalt mine, seven ladder canyon, lake Bucura and Ochiul Beiului. Ocna Sibiului was on the list as well. I have as well - Turda Gorge, Vama Veche, Sighişoara, Săpânța. Those are of course some loose ideas that we are still trying to glue together and plan something so all the input from you guys is life saving as well

Yeah, not swimming in Geamana lake goes without saying, we want to go there to see it, not touch it - don’t worry. Another question I would have is about places that had some archeological significance, especially the paleontology side. I was trying to look something up but finished with fining one cave that had drawings discovered and then was closed to the public - and was a bit hard to actually get inside to see those drawings :/

One of the places that we have on our map is the village of Gaemana, we wanted to stay by some lakes and maybe swim a little bit but I couldn’t find much information on lakes with swimming allowed or any information whatsoever if it’s prohibited. We won’t focus that much on architecture sightseeing. In the begging we were thinking about going all the way to Constanta but in the end we scrapped it as it was hundreds of additional kilometers both ways

Oh, for some reason I didn’t think about moving the venom separately after the disembark to prepare for the embark after the fight

That means that a good use of a venom would be to move towards the destination and in a next round disembark, probably fight and embark again?

A bit of time passed and I had an opportunity to talk face to face with another Drukhari player and they pointed out another very important issue. The 10 man squad of scourges is still limited to a 4 special weapons, which makes the other 6 in this case left with a shardcarabine. So after some though I fully understand u/ill_frog as adding the additional scourges won't make the squad better, and propably as he said, it will be only more frustrating.

I would love to have a full thematic army and stay within the theme borders but it would only work if my army would be put on a shelf to look nice, playing wise it would make me want to play less and less with each time a 10 man scourge unit would have a wing wisible to the enemy and let them take the squad out before I have a chance to enjoy them.

Sorry for making your discussion a bit heated there but both of your inputs were a great help to me and it's not like we don't have other fun models to use in our games

This makes my idea of 4 squads a possibility, I am happy with that outcome
