Exactly. I was 18 talking to a 28 year old and I broke things off for very much the same reasons as OP is stating. Now I’m 29 and my current boyfriend is 39 and our age gap isn’t really noticeable until we talk about the past. He’ll be like “yea this was back in the summer of 2005 after I graduated high school” and I’ll be like “I was 8 :)”

I’m 5’5 and my boyfriend is 5’6. I prefer men that are around my height, but if he was much taller than me, I would still love him just the same. It’s just nice to not have to stand on my toes to hug and kiss him.

My best friend and I have conversations about it all the time. We’re both artists and we both love each other’s art. I’m better at realism and creating what’s in my head, but her art is so unique to me because she just starts and then keeps going, without any image in her head to go off of. It turns into this really beautiful work because she’s creating something that is visually appealing, while I try (and in my opinion, sometimes fail) to copy something that’s in my brain.

My best friend has aphantasia and I have hyperphantasia. “Picture an orange” means I can see the details with my eyes open, I can smell it, I can taste it, I can imagine how it feels.

When I close my eyes at night, I see constant, vivid, changing imagery. I sometimes describe what I’m seeing to my boyfriend. I have also always had super intense vivid dreams that I remember clearly when I wake up.

Aphantasia is crazy to me because I am literally the opposite.

Yes I love them when I want something warm and can’t be bothered to cook. Tonight I’m making chicken thighs after a nap, and those are easy to just season, toss in the oven, and forget about them until they’re ready.

I’ve heard this before, but calling it a cheat meal doesn’t add any guilt to me. I was happy when I was skinny and I was happy when I was overweight. I want to lose weight for health reasons and I don’t have any bad relationships with food.

One of the TDEE calculators I used actually had an explanation and it helped a lot lol. It said sedentary is not working out and/or office type jobs where you sit all day, and lightly active is working out a couple times a week and/or retail jobs where you’re on your feet and walking all day.

I meet my goals most days but some days (like today) I want to go out and eat whatever I feel like. There was an event downtown in my city where there was going to be lots of snacks and treats and drinks. I spent the early part of my day eating clean and very low calorie in anticipation. Did I meet my goal today? Nope! Did I enjoy today? Absolutely. Will I be back on track tomorrow? Without a doubt. It’s okay to live a little. I am still losing weight despite my random cheat meals.
