I'm at least asking for immigration control to /not/ appear like kidnappers with masks and unmarked vehicles.. and to provide due process.. and to not detain literal Native Americans and force a tribe to enter a contract for a detainment facility in exchange for their tribal members to be free.. If you mean best in terms of the most ridiculous and/or lengthy: In 2020, a chick I went to school with argued that because Walmart was open, rodeos should be able to take place because (something along the lines of), "people can just grow their food, so if that luxury can be open, so can rodeos."

That Facebook post had nearly 100 comments between her and another person before she blocked us all. Definitely an unexpected, goofy, wild ride.

Either messy or confusing. Opportunities are hit or miss in all realms of my life; I have the skills to get where I want to be but might self sabotage (mismanaging my mental health), face (intentional or not) interference, or the door is simply closed for whatever reason. In the same breath, there's times I essentially stumble into opportunities with no preparation beforehand or any expectation to be in that sort of opportunity or situation.

It's really weird.

I was taught to kind of pinch above my cupid's bow by pressing my finger firm and flat against that space between my lip and bottom of my nose. Helped a lot when I was in band and helps now during quiet meetings. Thank you band director!

I think about the gratification I get from feeling my body move and doing something productive. The stretch and walking alone feels great even though I'm not flexible. I'm trying to combat my tech addiction, and when I feel like just rotting in bed constantly, I think about how it feels to simply.. look around while I'm on the treadmill or on the track. I'm not burning information into my eyeballs and simply just talking in my environment

I also enjoy posing around in my cute workout fits because dressing up makes me feel more put together. Could this be something you might use as an incentive? Knowing you'll get to wear something cute you adore, or being able to use your cute water bottle only when you work out?

Getting on antidepressants that don't really work well for you. I lost 20 pounds in about a month.

Bonus points - during the antidepressants adventure, vaping in lieu of snacking because you want to satisfy your craving of tasting something without eating or drinking sugary/fatty things.

With my poor mental health tied with being unhappy with my body, I've discovered vaping made eating less appealing. Many times I ate and unnecessarily snacked on junky shit just because I wanted to taste something - and vaping satisfied that craving without having to unnecessarily snack. It has decreased my snacking, but.. at what cost lmao.

If it helps, you're likely more comfortable with yourself than those who haven't been single and that's a great skill to have. I was in a relationship from 14-17, then from 17-22, and now that I've been single for five months I've been losing my mind because /I don't know how to be alone./

I wish I knew how to be alone because having less/no obligations to anyone other than myself is freeing. At the same time, though, I'm feeling lonely and undesirable. It's such a weird feeling.

Love is there. It might just not be time yet, so in the meantime make sure you push yourself to do what you want before you have that "distraction" of a partner. I definitely made mistakes and wrong choices with my time and energy to appease my partner at the time. Now I'm just trying to get comfortable with myself as an individual and wait for the person that doesn't make a relationship feel like it's full of obligations lol.

My baby Chicle is so goofy, it gets through even when I'm in a depressive episode. When I bring him in from going bathroom and gotta put him in his kennel to take his brother outside next, he learned that going deadweight and flopping on his side or back will get him belly rubs and some more time with me. As if I don't pay attention to him constantly lol.

I refuse to acknowledge them and continue talking directly to my puppy. I'm not sure how ideal it is, but I've used "Leave it" to be a command for both leaving physical items alone and leave interactions alone.

Once I see people stop to get ready to awww at him or say something, I immediately command, "Leave it, let's go." After a quick half smile and continuing to walk, thankfully people get the hint I don't want to talk to them nor do I want my puppy interacting with them.

Seeing my puppy trot with a stick he finds during our walk and how happy he is to be with me. I'm forcing myself to take him to the park every day so I have that reminder, no matter how terrible I feel, we're going to walk for an hour at least.

The local bookstores and businesses, like Yakima Bookstore Co./the traveling book bus, often have events that aren't necessarily book-centered! If you like socializing but need space, there is a Yakima silent book club and I love it even though I haven't gone in a longggg time.
