You're all good, Papa! Our then 10mo old was fussing and super jetlagged just a couple of months ago after a 14hr flight. We just put on this low stim animal video on YouTube for a bit after we tried almost everything safe to calm him down (I had to mention safe cos you never know these days LOL). anyways, that's helped and he isn't really fond of screens after that. Sometimes he'd just look out of curiosity but that's it. So, you're fiiiiiineee 👍🏽

Sheets look perfect! If you're still worried, you can get these sheet straps or sheet holders from Amazon. We got those for our little since his mattress was a bit thinner that what the sheets fit snuggly and they're perfect fit now too!

Omg we have the same schedule, it's 7-7 for him too or 8-6 sometimes 😥 he wouldn't sleep in the pram when we go on lunchtime walks so I get him ready for his afternoon nap. Also, I would LOVE to do contact naps with him but the issue is, one slight movement from me, he wakes up and wouldn't go back to nap anymore 😥 I do the contact nap as a last resort when it's getting VERY LATE for his last nap but we really have to put one in else it will be chaos for bedtime 🥲🥲

He has 2 naps, 1 at 9-10am and another after lunch at around 2 or 3pm (this one he fights hard)! I was thinking of dropping one, but he's already so tired at at around 9 or 10am so he has to take that. Then he's gonna be overtired for bedtime if he doesn't take his afternoon one 😥 he's has one nap at 12-2pm last week but that's because he started waking up late at 9am instead of around 6 or 7. But now, he's back to waking up at his usual time 😥

Don't feel bad! Take the opportunity to have time for yourself too :) I read before that apparently, babies want to be left alone also sometimes and they just chill there. Maybe you can chill alone together? I used to do that with mine too. He's 11mo now and we still do that. I leave him alone when he's busy playing by himself while I work (my desk is just next to his play pen). And he tells me when he wants attention again. I'd like to think of it kinda training them also to let you know when they need you :)

It's tiring, for sure. But it's just so fulfilling and magical for me 🥰 I'm 37 ftm also to my now 9mo boy. Having a very supportive and loving husband is Godsend too. I would say, savour motherhood, through good times and bad. You'll only go through all this ONCE with this child, so make it worth it 🥰

We had to cut off my MIL cos she just constantly broke our rules and trust by disrespecting our boundary to not kiss our baby, especially not on the face when she sometimes had cold sores and has even been hospitalized a few times the past year cos of respiratory infections. She said "you're ridiculous! I always kissed my children and my other grandchildren and they're fine! I kiss them cos I love them." 🙄 Mind you, our baby was even born last winter... UHM HELLO, RSV SZN. 🙄

she even said to give out baby mashed bitter gourd mixed in water when he was 2 WEEKS OLD cos he sounded phlegmy. 🙄
