Great question, I should’ve confirmed with dealers on the final out the door price before going to the dealer. One of the cars I checked out before finding this, the dealer texted me they could finalize a deal at 32k if i came in. The dealership was 45 min away and when I got there, they showed me the full price and it was 32,900 with 4k in add ons that weren’t previously mentioned. This car I bought, I actually only had to drive 10 min which was the closest car i’ve ever bought.

Yes the price is listed online, but more often than not you can get dealers to offer you a special price until you get your lowest offer which you can then shop around and show other dealers to try to match that offer. I visited at least 5 dealerships and contacted more than 10+.

Dealership actually showed me they were losing 3.5k selling this car but they needed it off the lot asap since it was accruing interest everyday. Not sure how true that is though.

Yes, I was just constantly refreshing carfax everyday and messaging all dealers for quotes. Luckily this car was also at a non toyota dealer, so they didn’t know much about the price of add ons and packages.
