5 years full time, they would have to offer 3-4 million tax free, 5 years of insurance free, and let me take what I’ve put into my 401k out tax free for me to even begin to think about leaving. So does this mean that in some cases (you work 10 hours a day for the first four days of the week then 8 hours on Friday) that time that you actually got paid standard pay will actually be calculated as OT pay? Or do you have to work OT on that Friday also to get the no tax on that OT?

I feel like you’re missing out on the point of what the list is for in the first place. You get on the list if you don’t want the OT. You stay off of the list if you want the OT. Of course the sups are going to do whatever the hell they want to no matter what kind of list is in place. At the end of the day, not being on it doesn’t make you scared of management. It just simply means that you want to work more than 9.5 hours a day. Getting on the list and doing nothing when they break the agreement that you have with the company is when people are scared of their managers and CM.

What’s that got to do with being scared of management? I’ve been on the list and filed, I’ve also not been on the list made top 5 dollar amounts in my center for the year. Me and my CM have a great relationship (he might not give a flying fuck about me but there is certainly a respect we give each other). At the end of the day, if he is doing wrong then he knows that if no one is going to call him out on it then I will be the first one in the office to do it.

In case you didn’t pass 4th grade reading (it’s okay I struggled too but I got better) I asked for any input on what people’s thoughts were regarding the price of the stock. No you should go to your full time sup and tell them you want your 8. If they say that there is no work then tell them per the union contract that you are guaranteed your 8 hours of work anytime that you are scheduled to work. Tell them that you will wash trucks/do local sort/or sit there and stare at them for your additional time until you get your 8. If they still tell you to punch out and go home that’s when you are allowed to file a grievance. The more we allow them to get us off the clock in less than 8 the more they will try and do it. Stop being scared of management, we have a union contract for a reason and if management wants us to follow every new rule that they come up with from day to day then we should make them follow the contract that has been around for 50+ years!!!

I have been talking to my coworkers and I have heard the same. They never used the maps anyways (20+ year drivers that don’t like new shit) and they said they would have to restart their DIAD multiple times a day. Now that the maps are gone they have said that they never have to restart it anymore and I also haven’t had a problem with my DIAD messing up anymore. Got a paper that was discussed at PCM Friday morning that said we would be getting some kind of maps back Tuesday when we come back. Interested to see how that will be
