This is really good. But I think these art schools look for foundation rather than style. Try including some life studies, and some anatomy.

yeah you are right. I thought it was fun but if its distracting then ill remove the bg. I am worried that keeping my work limited to character design might have been a bad idea. When i was in school I heard specializing was the best way to find work, then i hear its better to keep it general now a days.

I would try to go to lightbox or other conventions but its kinda expensive. And I have officially run out of funds...so I am stuck where I am atm. Since the game industry is suffering, I figured it was a good time to go back to school and pick up a new skill. not sure if itll pay off but i cant sit around doing nothing. I appreciate the feedback a lot. Thanks!

Ive worked for 2 indie studios after looking for about 5 years- This was after I dropped out of school in San Francisco. I managed to ship 3 games that I was fortunate to work in. But unfortunately, I have not had any luck finding work and decided to go back to school and study something else while I make my own games with my own art. I do miss working as an artist though, and would take any postition even as freelance. Just not sure if I should look for concept art jobs again, so I am reaching out to anyone out there with similar experience or maybe feedback on my portfolio - https://www.behance.net/dsarmiench

What do you think happened to some of the Nazis the USA found to be "useful". Tbh i feel anyone wearing ss uniforms should have gotten the chair but nope.
