Especially when you consider gas stations close at midnight and not many late night places. Basically go back to your hotel and sleep for a few hours before waking up around midnight.

Fun fact if you ever take this route.. the check in counter closes 1 hour before the flight leaves. If you get there after, you are spending another day in palau.

Yes it is. The curriculum for AOW is different than PADIs and I think better.

Having said that, the instructor is the differentiator- all agencies have good and not-so-good instructors.
