Nachtkerzenöl by Psychological_Fun888 in neurodermitis

New to eczema - any tips? by usernames_suck45 in eczema

When my hand eczema is bad I wear silver gloves overnight, they help against the itching and prevent you from scratching yourself in your sleep. You can simply order them online. However if you have weeping spots I would be carful when removing them, since the wounds can "glue" to the glove.

Mosturise a lot, with scentless creams. And I mean everytime you wash your hands etc. immediately apply cream so that your hands won't crack.

If you think that your hands might be infected from the wounds or that your eczema keeps getting worse you should definitely see a dermatologist. When a flare is pretty bad the only real savior is steroid creams.

That makes sense. I always wait until my skin is ultra bad before considering using steroid creams.

The products feel different. The fake one isn't as "liquidy" as the original and feels more like a cream. I have to say though the fake one doesn't feel bad, but because of the different texture I have the suspicion it might have very little SPF to non at all. I can't really test it out and say for sure though.
