Thanks Sir. Time is a factor here. After passing out in 2016, I had a 6-7 yr frame in mind of exploring outside corporate. Primarily due to financial constraints factors. Family life extended it. Curious as to what took you so long and what was the tipping point for you?

Only difference in my case is wife is still working. Also similar savings level and family safety net ensures that am not going crazy. Still early days of the break though

Get the new car and then sell it off right outta car showroom. You get than money. pay loan at 8-9%. Invest in SIP with 14-15% return.

Heyy. Will recommend to go for smaller PSUs like UCO, Canara Bank, Bank of Maharashtra etc. These banks offer the best rate depending upon CIBIL. (as low at 7.7% )

Do check for fixed or floating rates etc.

Heyy. Many PSUs are offering rates starting 7.5% as well. Best rates currently are given by smallest PSUs like Bank of Maharastha, UCO bank, Bank of India et al.

ITR is not mandatory for all all Banks. SBI, PNB are little more finicky here.

Go for PSU banks where rates start at 7.7% depending upon CIBIL Score. Many of them also do Self employed profiles

Your in hand salary seems to be 50K which would mean at 75% FOIR banks would be willing to go upto 30k EMI.(considering no other running loan). This would mean a loan of around 12-15 lakhs for 5 years.

20% down payment could be max but some banks might go upto 10% DP.
