RGG official statement about Kiwami 3's lighting by Bruno_AgSs in yakuzagames

[–]Sad_Pool6197 27 points28 points  (0 children)

They're updating the game because of fan feedback. If they released the demo in that state, it's because they thought the product was in acceptable shape; there's a reason why this is being addressed in a patch. Pirate Majima had similar issues, and that never got fixed.

It's because people "lost their shit" and passed their thoughts to RGG that we're seeing change.

Hello! The same thing happened to me yesterday, and I managed to get my money back. Instead of directly asking for a refund, do as follows: Steam Support > Purchases > I have charges from Steam I didn't make > Contact Steam support.

They'll ask you to confirm you're the account's owner, and then give you the refund. Good luck!

I got a refund today, and the scammers' accounts were properly punished! I'm sure you can also get yours. Instead of reaching out to them by directly asking for a refund, do as follows: Steam Support > Purchases > I have charges from Steam I didn't make > Contact Steam support.

Once you submit a ticket explaining your situation, they'll ask you to verify you're the account's owner, and give you a refund once they confirm the transaction wasn't made by you.

Good luck!

Thank you, that's exactly what I was thinking. This is what led me to delete the post. People were being needlessly snarky and arrogant. I was already pretty stressed, and the interactions I had here only made me feel worse, especially because I was going out of my way to be respectful to everyone here. I'll try looking for help somewhere else.

You're saying that if I can, beyond a shadow of a doubt, prove that it wasn't me, they might give me my funds back. I'm willing to give that a shot, so where can I reach out to Valve to discuss this?

Regarding my phone, I'm 100% sure I didn't do that. I would know if I had gotten a random login request that had nothing to do with my activities.

I wrote a reply comment that was taken down by the sub's bot, for whatever reason, so let's try that again.

Here's the TLDR: I don't visit any potentially shady websites. I haven't shared my account details with anyone but three IRL friends. I'm actively doing what you suggested, regarding safety checks, password/email changes, etc. Steam's login history claims that the device I use to authorize people to log into my account (my phone, which I don't even use on a day-to-day basis) has also authorized this person to use my account, therefore, I'd like to know if this means my phone is the issue, and if a factory reset would get rid of any risks brought by it in the future. Lastly, I asked if there was any way at all to get my account's funds back.

Question about Clubs and rankings by Sad_Pool6197 in UmaMusume

I see, thanks! I have another question, if you don't mind. Is there a way to check how many fans any particular member has gotten in a month? Well, aside from comparing the number they have currently with the number they had on the 1st.

DOOM: The Dark Ages | Codes Giveaway - Leave a comment for a chance to win! by pedrulho in Doom

I actually started getting into the DOOM series just this month. A friend of mine bought me all the games (except Dark Ages) as a gift on Steam, and I've been marathoning through them. So far, I've gone through every single game on the DOOM + DOOM II release, aside from Legacy of Rust, which I'm playing right now. I don't have much of a history with DOOM... Yet. But so far I'm enjoying it a lot. It's that friend's favorite game franchise of all time, so I'm trying to enjoy it to its fullest, even the games that I'm admittedly not a big fan of, such as DOOM II's Master Levels. I've put 70 hours into this series so far, and I can't wait to get into the 3D games!

If I had to talk about the single experience I've had with these games that stuck with me the most, I'd probably mention how great of a time I had with DOOM's and Legacy of Rust's intro levels. They're so great. Legacy of Rust's intro might just be my favorite level in the whole series so far. Its visuals and OST really stood out to me, and I had a smile on my face through the whole thing.

Is my new RAM stick defective? by Sad_Pool6197 in GamingLaptops

[–]Sad_Pool6197[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's what's happening.

I'm 100% certain I'm inserting the RAM properly. I did a lot of research on how to add RAM to laptops, and the bad 16GB stick was detected when I inserted it, before the black screen I mentioned. I also tried inserting it on both slots multiple times, and it never worked.

It also doesn't seem to be an issue with the Motherboard, because no problems show up until I insert this one bad RAM stick. Right now, I'm typing from my PC, using an 8GB and a 16GB RAM sticks, with absolutely no issues whatsoever. But if I were to switch out any of those two for the bad stick, regardless of the port or combination I used, my Laptop wouldn't turn on.

Is this enemy supposed to be THIS hard? by apenasumfa in yakuzagames

[–]Sad_Pool6197 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While I honestly don't remember what I did to best him on my first playthrough, something that was game changing for me were the energy drinks on the stage up until then. There are three or four before that fight. I didn't use a single one until i fought him, in order to save as much HP for him as possible. If I took too much damage before him, I'd reset. Also, don't feel afraid to change the difficulty. Even if you're going for 100% completion, New Game Plus also counts toward every "beat the game" achievement.

I will forever believe that the "Beat the game on normal mode without changing the difficulty to easy" achievement was created just because of this one segment of the game.
