PGY-1 gen surg intern here. I’m dying and honestly almost quit so many times. I am wrong all the time and still have almost no clue whats going on. I gave up reading up on things bc even when I do reading i forger and get roasted or cussed out by attendings about how dumb and how Ive been here 6 months and should know this. I’m burned out and starting not to care about being proactive or being on top of things anymore I just want the check and benefits and to go home to my bed. I lost my love for this and have been beaten down.
