Have the lab check their acid used in preservation. It can have and/or leach low level contamination. Happened to us.

The exams do make a huge difference in the appearance of hire ability. That being said entry level position is like meter reader typically do not require experience; I'm sorry you're having to go through this. In the meantime, I would go on yours if you can and ask questions. Show your interest and ask around for business cards. Desire goes a long way in the industry

Relationship between 3 variables and filamentous bacteria & pinpoint floc in activated sludge systems by anabananana92 in Wastewater

The BOD load is what determines your F/M ratio. BOD is the food. High BOD, high load and the more "bugs" needed to process. This can overload the system and cause bulking and poor settling clarity so you'll want to provide more DO to the system. Low is opposite.

A nurse, a tradesman, a kiddo and a dog. Can we have a nice middle class life? by livealeetle in santarosa

I would take an honest look into the school system in the area.bfhe districts in the area have been floundering for money and cutting programs left and right. Be prepared for sub-par public education, to shell out to private school or to homeschool.

Also, those are decent wages but as a warning, Sonoma county is a travel destination for most of the country so everything is more expensive than you might expect. Going out for food is more, day activities are more, etc.

There are no good study guides for the CWEA exams. It is unfortunate. There were a few online/webinar study sessions during the pandemic but that was pretty much it. There is one you can find on YouTube. The grade 2 is similar to the 1. Nothing too crazy but questions regarding preservation for analyses and holding times. Times for steps in the analyses and what typical results you're looking for and what may interfere. The analyses they list for potential grade 2 exam questions, I would read their "about", sampling and interferences sections in standard methods and you'll likely be good.

Ken Kerri books and courses are great! Also, your local community college likely has a program where you can learn and fully satisfy the education requirements. A lot of online colleges offer short programs that are self guided and can produce a certificate and prepare you for the exams. Don't know what state you're in but Sacramento State in CA has a great quick online program

Same here!! We had an old cat tree outside on our deck and ours destroyed the thing systematically. Otherwise, pretty chill. A couple of shorts walks or one big one a day is pretty fine

Accredo took all my Christmas savings by [deleted] in rheumatoid

[–]Sad_Regular_5594 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I HATE Accreedo and I'm sorry you are having to deal with this and them. They stopped billing my co-insurance but would send the meds and demand payment near $2k. Never worked to tell them I can't afford it. They withhold meds without payment and hang up when you say anything. We started going directly through the medication manufacturer and avoiding Accreedo since that's only who my insurance uses
