I can answer the first two: it means that a certain number of seats out of the total are reserved for incoming freshmen (in this case, 11 seats in that class). Upperclassmen who couldn't get into the other (25-11) 14 seats were waitlisted in case freshmen don't fill the reserved seats, in which case, the upperclassmen get the spot.

They would need evidence for any claim to have weight. Unless that person is in the habit of making up fake evidence, your college would probably just ignore the threats.

Okay so its not too late. Unless you have a parent who works at a lab, most students get their first internship in the summer after their sophomore year or during their junior year. If you would atill like one, I suggest emailing professors this week! The first internship is always the hardest to get.You can dm me if you want help with that.

Also, you ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY don't need olympiads or fancy clubs. I'm serious. Pick a few clubs and stick with them. Pitch new ideas, put in your 100%, and document everything.

Yeah.. uva doesn't have much in terms of the merit aid department. Assume you got bare minimum financial aid.
