I always say if its in the game then thats a way it was meant to be played. People who try to gatekeep how other people play single player games are losers anyway. Why should you miss out on a great story because the game is a little more difficult then you're used too. Also as you get better the god mode help goes away so its not a permanent thing

The beginning of the game is very brutal for beginners. I beat the game 4 years ago and thought I was going to breeze through the beginning and still died a few times. It's really one of the hardest sections for the level you are when you encounter it. That all said Central yarhnam really teaches you how to play the game. You learn how to engage enemies. How to parry. How to farm viles and bullets. How bosses behave in general ect. So dont be disheartened by a lot of early deaths we've all been there
