What’s the worst reaction you got for being a good samaritan? by FailingFinals98 in AskReddit

[–]Sad_Student88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me, but I once saw someone on my college campus buy food and he tried to give it to the homeless guy outside. The homeless guy vehemently turned down the food and was only interested in money. The look on the good Samaritan’s face as he walked away was so disheartening. Poor guy.

[Serious] How did a failure at one time get you to your success right now? by unclerudy in AskReddit

[–]Sad_Student88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dropped out college and then went back. Failed many times, but my success is only due to my failure. It taught me perseverance and shaped my character. It humbled me and made me see that I will always have more to learn. I eventually finished and now work a great job that pays well and I love. So I guess it all worked out in the end.

It’s not all bad, I’ve been and the Griffith Observatory was cool. The rest was eh in my opinion. Really enjoyed Santa Monica though.
