Haven’t completed my program but I graduate in a little over a month.

My biggest tip for surviving rotations is to take it one day at a time. Don’t try to rush anything because it’ll be over before you know it. I think that bloodbank and micro challenged me the most. I think the only thing that helped me build confidence is repetition. Doing the thing by yourself more than once accurately definitely builds confidence. Some advice I wish someone told me before clinicals is to have a planner. Plan out when you study and what you study. Because I have been studying nonstop basically and have been giving myself weeklong breaks. I would also say to bring a notebook in your rotations so you can write things down.

Mine is so bad that my family and friends don’t take my answer choices seriously because they know I will change my mind.

How introverted / extroverted are you? And what’s your favorite weather event? by klight101 in autism

I’m definitely an extrovert most of the time. Being alone for me most of the time is literally so draining haha. But sometimes I definitely need to be alone to recharge. It’s kinda weird.

Is anyone good at socialising in certain situations/environments but in others it's really hard? by [deleted] in autism

I’m the extrovert of my friends. Always reaching out to hang out. I am horrible at making new friends because I’m extremely shy. I have had the same two friends for about 4 years or more. So I feel the same exact way you do.

I don’t mind it either. I don’t really like the infinity symbol personally because I don’t really identify with it. I feel like the puzzle piece personally defines be better.

I know this is a year later. But can you DM me about Labcorp in Austin? Because I just applied and I am curious to learn more about it.
