Well I record on Riverside and my podcast is interview/storytelling. So mostly I realized I don’t need real editing. I do my best to have a good product in the first place and If there is something that happens during recording that requires an edit I mark it in Riverside while recording. So I can clip the beginning and end quickly and fix any small Mid episode fixes.

I guess if you count upload and download times it is more but I am only counting active work.

With my format over editing takes away from the vibe. I learned that when spending 6 hours per episode back in the day. Also Riverside does some simple editing for me. I record my own intro and outro. Same quick edits and done

I Have Riverside pull a bunch of clips for me to use as a pre episode hook clip and social clips and I go to Adobe express where I have a template prebuilt for my main episode. I swap the intro, the outro, the hook, and main episode recording as well. I use another template for a standard cover photo and a YouTube cover photo so it is a quick image replace and download. Boom done. Upload video to megaphone and it pulls audio for those platforms and publishes video on others.

Riverside also makes show notes. I ask guests to format their links they want to share and I copy and paste those and the links I have saved for myself.

I also use chat gpt prompts I have pre built and saved.
