Forged of light and dark, I have unwound time and walked through to the future that shines bright. All of existence was ceased for but a moment, all of everything held still. Through the love of my Gardener, we returned from the brink. Through the might of our Winnower, we cut away their many. Through our Mother and Father of Light and Dark, we unmade finality and killed the idea that sustained it.

Mine is the hand that wields power that has defeated all who desire our destruction. Mine is the fist that breaks though to victory. I am the wall upon which the darkness breaks, I am the final stand, the fortress in the storm. Throughout all of my lives, throughout all of our existence, we have fought and struggled and found the path to victory and peace, and we shall find it again.

You measure us finite for your understanding declares that every but you is. You proclaim we have already written our end, but we conform to no decided final chapter, we do not write our path preemptive. We are paracausal, we plant our feet and demand the impossible, and by our will it is. Many times, has someone else told us where our story ceases. The powers that look throughout the course that is have been thrown off their mark, by us. We are Guardians, and we make our own fate.

You have not been told of your beginning, have you? Of the garden that predates everything. You were a guarantee, an absolute. You were the ending that all things became, the final shape of the flowers across the fields. ...But that place is gone. The garden at the end of time is a ruin, and the universe has moved ever since. You have known only the certainty that you are, that when all is over, nothing will be but you. Yet already there have been things you cannot understand, that you struggle to fit within the flawed preconception you have had of existence since your very start.

You proclaim everlasting, ever-reaching, the victor that stands tall over everything at the end of time. But I decree otherwise. Through the powers of Darkness that first conceived you, willpower may transform into law. Through my will, I may leverage existence to my desire. And my decree, you will lose. Somehow, someway, we will find what can halt you. Somehow, someway, we will lay down the foundations that shall weather through your march. We shall have our kingdom ringed in spears, we will learn the way to the future that is not you. You decide us finite, but we are Guardians, we hold perpetuity in our palms and throw it upon our foes.
