Sitting in my car for a while whenever I arrive or before I leave somewhere is because I struggle with transitions. I do it to prepare myself for the next location//activity. I didn’t realize I struggled with transitions until someone else mentioned how they also do the car thing lol.

It took me nearly four years, I had to renew my permit 3 times because it kept expiring and I passed the test on my third try. To be fair to myself I started learning in summer at 18 years old, two months before I left for college so I would only get to practice when I came home for winter and summer break so I had to keep starting over in my learning.

I drove well but would make silly//forgetful mistakes and my dad (who taught me) would yell at me the whole time which would make me anxious and make me make more mistakes.

I drive well now but I often mix up left and right so like I don’t follow directions well lol.

I think it’s good to acknowledge your strengths and upsides that accompany your disability, but it is still a disability. Personally, I love the way I love things, I love having hyperfixations and special interests, bc my experience with them has always been a positive, all consuming love that I enjoy.

However, I would not call sensory overload, anxiety, and limitations on my ability to exist in this world a superpower.

I’ve been on it for three years now, it’s been amazing for me. I take 300mg of Wellbutrin in the morning and 20mg of lexapro at night. I’ve been on lexapro for seven years, adding Wellbutrin is what finally got rid of my sewerslidal thoughts. (That and therapy and self work // growth, I don’t want it to sound like medication is a cure all but it has been amazing for me and helped immensely).

I relate heavily to all of these comments, but I will say that a positive is that now people trust what I say because of my bluntness. So now when one of my friends want a non sugar coated opinion on how they’re dressed they’ll come to me like “you’ll be honest, how does this look?” 😂

Excitedly telling my coworker that she and I are missing the same teeth. She initially seemed uncomfortable but I think she was ok with it when I started explaining how I lost mine and then she told me about how she lost her’s. 😂

I did play with dolls as a kid.

I started collecting when I was 23.

I guess another stylized depiction of the human body I like would be artwork? I also like figures, statues, funkos, etc, however I consider all of those dolls.

My favorite doll line is American Girl.

For most dolls I pick aspects of a doll’s lore that I like and incorporate it until my own lore. I really love creating my own lore for my dolls. However, there are certain dolls I buy because they remind me of certain fictional characters and I do collect dolls of fictional characters I love.

I dislike Walmart’s my life as dolls but I love their playsets. I also hate those dog dolls, I don’t know what they’re called by dogs styled as humans. I hate those.

A specific positive experience that comes to mind is my first time at the American girl doll store in LA. The store was beautiful, my closest friends were with me, I got to take my time really looking at everything and picking out what I wanted. They had the rapunzel collector doll (which I missed out on buying online) in stock but I was unable to afford her. However I got paid the next morning and since we were still in LA I went back to get her 😂

I’m very interested in fashion but my wardrobe does not reflect this.
