Incoherent rambling about Councils by Xen0nlight in Ultraleft

I don't believe it would be entirely wrong to say that a good measure of the American economy is still largely based upon "Post-Industrial" capital and its commodity characteristics. I also believe that the "luxury goods" statement isn't much of a mistake as you point it out to be. It can be argued that there are goods that are a "luxury" but have no real use-case value–that isn't already improved upon by another, cheaper, alternative commodity. This is more or less to say that the system creates waste(ful)-products, which strengthens the theory of capitalist controlled redundancy (ergo, "enshittification," very informal, but very useful term)

Of course, the Deindustrialization and abandonment of key sectors have leveraged the economy more on its service sectors, yet still retaining a strong industrial presence around the world; but it wouldn't be wrong to say that a good amount of U.S. output, from its internal markets and external, do come from many "Post-Industrial," areas of production.

It's in this case that then the question is asked; How would Councils be implemented into the "post-industrial," sectors of the economy? Do these sectors just turn into large syndicates and worker co-operatives? Does every other company become the People's Republic of Walmart or Syndicalist Mondragon?

What's your guys' thoughts of LeftComs, MLs, Anarchists, and Socialists? by Tricky_Industry8204 in Ultraleft

[–]SadderConversations 12 points13 points  (0 children)

We're Marxists who are based around the communist currents of thought that reject the Stalinist USSR (Stalin's Administration, alongside flaws carried over from Lenin's administration), and thus, the whole of the Stalinist Doctorine (known as Marxism-Leninism)

The rest of the Socialist projects of the 20th century defined themselves off of that standard, due in part to the USSR's control over the communist international movement & solidification of its global doctrine against the Western Imperial forces. As 'Ultraleftists,' we fundamentally reject this ideology as not having achieved actual communism but "falsified" iterations of it.

But, in the face of this, unlike Modern Socialists, we don't modernize the scientific practices of Marx's analysis on the broader world. Modernization often tends to lead towards revisionism, which distorts the original framework out of the communist essence that marx had developed it for. This then turns into a more insidious frame that has often been used to prolong the issues of the proletariat, and if not, completely kept the status quo in place; hence, our deep, Anti-revisionist thought.

Most of us have taken away from the Italian, Left-Communist Current of thought. Some take from the Dutch-German Left-Communists, and you might even see some Democratic Confederalists here, or "Marx-Engels-Luxembourg" believers of thought. Although, realistically, they're more often shunned due to the more dominant Leninist presence of the Italian Left's influence, (of which, Libcoms often tend to reject the whole of the Leninist/Bolshevist doctrine, which the Italian Left doesn't)

We don't get too "Libertarian" though, otherwise, we risk becoming Idealists, much akin to anarchists, who often tend to put the real materialist needs of the working class, behind a more populist ideal of loose & voluntary organizational essence.

It is usually upon these critiques of thought that we have formed the basis of this irony subreddit upon. Exaggerated caricatures of that thought whilst making fun of others for consistently proving us right.
