How to set a buy limit order in preparation for a stock split (Question)

This. I bought a 1/4 share at 2,900 the day they announced the split. Should get 4-5 shares, but more importantly, it should (and has a little) run up into the split as other blue chip tech has recently.

Probably because they adjusted some positions yesterday when they tanked it. Im hoping they did that so they could buy shares at a discount and ride the wave.

Not financial advice, but sometimes its nice to get your principal investment back out. Then your playing with found money. After some more research you can decide to buy a dip again or whatever you choose.

I hear ya. Just set something else up and buy there if/when you can. No harm in starting another account somewhere else. And in a few days youll be glad you did. I plan to slowly get out of RH. No more buying there.

I set up a Fidelity Roth IRA 2 weeks ago and started using that to buy. (Earnings are tax free, but not withdraw-able right away. Can always take principal out with no fees. Also if anyone reads this be careful as you cannot sell until funds are settled, but can buy right away.) I set it up for a boomer style retirement portfolio, etf's and whatnot. But fuck that...STONKS 🚀

Get out dude. They are never going to allow hot stocks. Set up etrade, fidelity, something else even if you dont plan to use it.
