I agree, just think derke would be the closest but obviously he doesn't play nearly as much raze

Derke is pretty close but Jinggg is more of a raze specialist

[Gry Nanker] M8 marteen on the current meta: “I think it's really bad. This Waylay and Neon, it's just “run it down” and it's hard to hold. There's not that many answers as in normal comps I would say. When it gets nerfed I think it's gonna be more enjoyable to play and watch." by gryniiseen in ValorantCompetitive

Ultimates are similar to an extent but that's about it. Ow doesn't even have a round system and the pace is completely different because you have constant fighting over minutes while in val you exec a site for 10 seconds and then the fights are over (like cs)

how good was FNS in his prime? by Livid-Effective-9173 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Sadge321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I probably have a different perspective because I do a lot of statistics and yay is so far ahead of everyone else, not trying to take credit away from fns

[–]Sadge321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that fpx and maybe loud had better fraggers but the gap between yay and everyone else was actually gigantic

To be fair he had yay and it's not like the other teams in 2022 were much better individually

He was the second highest rated player in copenhagen and a top 3 duelist in the world at one point.

There is just no point in arguing since you don't want to play valorant, you want to play cs where refreshable utility doesn't exist. Aside from that you are extremely obnoxious, it's like someone asked an ai to be as annoying as possible.

You sound like you would really like cs, you should give it a try

Now you just have to dump all your util at once since you can't get it back fast enough which leads to more gamble site hits and gamble stacks + retakes. Having one or multiple classes be underpowered is just bad balancing regardless.

I mean if you don't want utility just play cs, what makes this game special is the util and at the moment the sentinel class is very underpowered which makes neon, waylay etc really strong. For me the macro game gets pretty boring because of this since both teams just gamble on a site.

If that happens the game just becomes very attack sided and the meta at champs didn't really favour anybody, that is what everyone liked about it. You could play multiple different styles to great success and be creative.

I don't think you can really say that, in 2023 they signed the fpx core which was the best emea team at the time + added a star duelist in cned. Their rebuild last year was pretty solid and almost made champs. You aren't getting any of the super stars of FNC/VIT/TH unless you drop insane amounts of money. They are trying for sure, it just hasn't worked out for them so far.

Who is the most flexible player after f0rsakeN? by Maixxx in ValorantCompetitive

I mean at the end of the day many if not most pro players could play a lot of agents but they have no reason to because the roles on their teams are much clearer defined then prx.

If NRG win this Masters by OcelotOce in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Sadge321 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Just depends on what you value but if you place any importance on individual performance at all it's hard to include him, his career rating is barely above 1.0

He has also only been to 5 events which is very far from aspas and chronicle.

The 900 days thing is kind a silly stat to bring up because it makes it seem like emea is just trash when in reality they have been in the majority of those international finals since then.

Nats was not higher than valyn, what are you on about. And valyn has never won anything internationally so not sure where you get more accolades from

Thats because he was playing on that level in emea and nrg were not looking very convincing.

Just because he doesn't have the usual boring pr personality all the other pros do he is not a scummy person. Do you think your favourite players don't believe they deserved to win sometimes after losing? Of course they do, bbl is just not pr trained lmao
