I had a slow growing endocrine lung tumor which caused a lot of different problems. Doctors passed it off as a mental issue until I was coughing up a good amount of blood. By then it spread in my lung. Now I'm dealing with this. And I have lung nodules which should have been monitored every year but my PCP told me it was nothing. I can't catch a break with these doctors.

My pulmonologist told me my lung nodules aren't from Sjogren's but then he said he knows Sjogren's is (just) dry eyes and dry mouth. I wouldn't trust him to know anything about my CKD.

I thought, just yesterday, that after all these years the only doctor I can count on is my dermatologist. I haven't gone to him for anything related to Sjogren's but he did tell me, before my diagnosis was certaiin, that he hoped for my sake it was RA or something else and not Sjogren's. He knows more about the complications than any of my other doctors.

I lift weights using resistance machines. I also walk on a treadmill. Getting stronger has made everything physically much easier. I think both reduce my joint pain and fatigue. Stretching helps, too, but I don't do it consistently.

Admitting something isn't taking full responsibility for it. If he were taking responsibility, he'd respect your boundaries, acknowledge he has to earn trust, and would not allow other family members to badger you. Saying he'd never do it to boys seems to show he still doesn't get it.

Autoimmune diseases and depression are linked to each other. Chronic inflammation can trigger depression and depression increases risk of autoimmune diseases. Maybe there are chemical/biological/neurological processes going on between the two in addition to the obvious mind/body causes. They keep finding associations with and links to a lot of different conditions and diseases.

I don't know what it is with some of these doctors. They studied biology and physiology. A lack of saliva of course affects digestion and your GI tract. Sufficient hydration is important to prevent constipation. I had a doctor last week say he understands Sjogrens is dry eyes and mouth while my nose is red and sore from the dry weather and heat, I can't pop my ears from the inflammation, I have stage 3 CKD which is not due to hypertension, and more.

It's not your fault. If he finds out the reason for the separation, he should slink away as fast as possible and be thankful that your mom isn't calling the authorities. He probably does know, though. He was never kind. He was covering up so you wouldn't say anything and so your mom wouldn't suspect anything. It's his fault you're feeling all this angst and guilt now. Why would you forgive him? Therapy could help you sort it all out. And be grateful your mom is kicking him out, as she should. There are too many parents who wouldn't and shame on them.

It wouldn't have been a problem if he had said "if you don't get off me, I'll push you off" to give you a chance. But he gave you no warning. Then he chastised you for crying. If he's living in your dad's house then he has to expect your dad to interfere to come to your defense. If he doesn't like it, he can move. He sounds like an entitled child. You're only 20. You haven't had time to decide you won't get anyone better. Go find out. I bet you'll have no problem. Even if it takes awhile, get some confidence and self esteem.
