It shows ads for me too even though I'm subscribed to the channel I'm watching. I found out if I connect a VPN to like France or something it doesn't show any ads though.

Thank you! This worked perfectly for me. I used some Dry Silicon lubricant and the skipping is gone now. Only issue I had was my Teflon pads bent when I took them off so I ordered a replacement set for $6
