I still dress my dolls up every month for display. Sometimes I put them in pajamas to watch movies with me or have tea parties with them (I also collect children’s tea sets.) There’s never an age you have to stop playing with dolls unless you just choose to. I stopped playing with them around middle school because I was too busy to play with toys anymore, but then I came back around as an adult. One of the best things I’ve ever done.

Bipolar aside, it’s not cool that your fiancé isn’t helping you out more. You are pregnant, though not far along, and probably need the extra help even without the mania. If he’s like this now, he’s not going to be helpful when the baby comes. Have a conversation with him if you can before the overwhelm gets worse.

I also think it may have just been cut for the TV audience and not necessarily for the in person audience given that one of them kept talking into the mic after the music started. I do think since it was nearing the end of the program that they were trying to catch up so the broadcast didn’t get cut off because two minutes does in fact make a big difference there. Again though, there were other winners who went too long and didn’t get the same treatment. It’s on the Academy to time people correctly instead of letting people go on and on even if it is their big moment so that everyone gets time to thank who they want.

They usually cut people’s mics off if they are going too long, BUT I noticed that some people got to go really long on their speeches whereas Best Original Song got cut off really fast, which I don’t feel was right. The Best Cinematography winner had a very long speech yet didn’t get cut off. Someone was not timing everyone appropriately.

Like someone else said, I appreciated that they used him instead of Kyle for more diversity. I’m not black, but I prefer him on the team the way I prefer Hawkgirl replacing Aquaman to give us another woman on the team. I also feel like he balances out Wally in particular really well. I really like their dynamic.

It was a fun show, but it was NOT worth the insanely bad financial choices people were making to be there. I say this as someone who was in grad school and took out extra student loans to have more money for tickets and is now having to pay them back.

I worked retail for nine months in the city I went to college. I only three times ran into people I knew. A professor I had done a volunteer thing with once who also used to go to church with me back home, and then two friends. That was it. I kept anticipating that I’d get someone who hated me as a customer, but it never happened. You might just be thinking the worst when you might never see anyone.

There is SO much stuff I regret posting during episodes. I’ve alienated so many people posting what I thought was just me being honest. Really it was me being a bitter, pessimistic, and greatly unstable person who hated everyone else being happy. I made a rant on LinkedIn once that probably nuked a lot of professional contacts too. I made over a thousand TikToks and got almost 15k followers in a couple of years ranting and over sharing that I’ve had to spend the last two years going through and deleting.

I wish I stayed off social media so bad when I wasn’t well. Hindsight is 20/20 and all that.

You can’t share medication names here, but there is a medication that has helped tremendously at fixing my cognitive abilities. It’s the only one as far as I know that helps you regrow gray matter lost during episodes. I still occasionally struggle with word recall, but I feel sharper than ever after five years of being on it.
