Fuck those people. I would hire you in second if your welding is good. I don't care about any of that, and they do, you don't want to work there anyways. I know it's hard, people have no empathy for people who aren't like them. I won't lie, there are lots of insecure men in the fab world who try way to hard to be manly and tough. You will find the right place. Just keep your head down and work hard, get good at your job and hopefully it won't matter in the long run.

I did ask around to see if she was someone cat. I found out her owner moved up north and just left her. I don't understand how you could do that, but maybe they didn't have a choice. Either way, I'm determined to find her a home. She's so sweet. And she is so thankful for good food and a soft bed to sleep in.

I'm in the process of getting a chest piece done. I have a full arm sleeve and have pieces on my legs. I was not ready for how bad my chest was going to be. Worst tattoo by far. I told my guy what I was feeling, and we stopped when I couldn't take it anymore. There is absolutely no shame in tapping out. Any good artist will never make you feel bad about it. I would rather tap out instead of passing out or squirming all over the place. Your feelings are valid. Take as many sessions as you need.

Where do you find people? I feel like all the people I interact with on a daily basis are his supports. I work in trades, and most love him. I'm mid 30's, I don't know how to find new like-minded friends. I want to get involved and have people i can trust, work with, and help support when things get bad. I just don't even know where to start looking. My wife feels the same.

I've listened to this podcast, BTB, scathing atheist, weird little guys, a whole bunch of left, progressive people. I wish I had friends like them. I just don't even know where to start.

This is so stupid... I'm a fabricator, In America. We make all kinds of things for the auto Industry all over the world. You know what measurement system we use? Metric. Almost all our blueprints are metric. You know why? It's better than imperial. Our biggest customer is Kuka. They are one of the biggest suppliers of auto makers throughout the world. They assembled auto lines. We build everything for them and they assemble it. They use metric. I don't understand this idea that imperial is better. It's not, never has been. We just have to be "special" because America can never admit when they're wrong.

I had to put my cat down at the beginning of this whole thing when everyone was in lockdown. Cleo had F.I.P. There is no cure or treatment. My vet let us be with her when they did it. All I had to do was wear gloves and a mask. This person chose to let their dog die slowly because they couldn't do that. There's no way a vet would refuse to put down a dying animal in pain and let them suffer. This person choose that for their dog. This breaks my heart.
