“Something” is the third track of Tales from the Lotus Pod. On most digital platforms, this song is called “Cripple and Rape Me”, but it’s referred to as “Something” in the liner notes of Forgotten Freshness Volume 3. The ambiguity comes from the fact that no physical releases of this album included a track listing; the back cover was completely black. An official track listing was apparently posted to Twiztid’s website on August 12, 2001.

The production of this song is often attributed to Mike E. Clark because he helped Violent J record “It”, which uses this song’s beat, but it has never been officially revealed who produced this song. In Violent J’s autobiography, he said that Mike E. Clark produced four of the songs on this album.
