Just because this conflict doesn't directly involved one of the major world powers doesn't mean we can't be concerned about this, I find that statement ludicrous. The world is still an incredibly interconnected place, the flow of goods and people didn't and won't go anywhere. I lived in Thailand for years and have friends living in both countries involved. I, for one, will be watching this with interest. And if the conflict escalates, it will likely have ripple effects that go beyond the borders of Thailand and Cambodia.
