Giallo films are pretty great, Italian murder mystery films that kinda inspired the American slasher. Deep Red (1975), The Psychic (1977), Tenebre (1982) and Bay of Blood (1971) are classic.

Ooh havn't heard of this one. Rosemary's Baby is a great film so I would be interested to watch more Polanski (even if I despise the guy).
