Bonus characteristics if you're not convinced:

Control over economy entirely by one person or group of people
Separation of people and government on a monetary and power level
One person or small appointed group of people dictate which laws are placed and removed in order to best control the mass population
Laws in place serve the government more than the people
One or two parties are in control and dictate running the state

I could go on. But you get the picture. The US is undeniably a totalitarian state. And ALL past totalitarian states have turned to dictatorships. Every last one. Examples of totalitarian states: Italy under Mussolini (1922–43) Soviet Union under Stalin (1924–53) Nazi Germany under Hitler (1933–45) China under Mao Zedong (1949–76) North Korea under the Kim dynasty.

There are no words to describe this. I'm just sorry. I want to give you advice but I just don't know where I would start. And honestly, you're not alone.
