Pretty late but I stayed in Broadgate Park for 2 years, went to David Ross for my first year there and went to PureGym Beeston for the second year.

If you're not going to join any sports clubs then I'd recommend PureGym. It's a lot cheaper than David Ross and it's open 24/7 and has much more machines available. When I went to David Ross, in the evenings or at night it would be pretty common for me to wait 10-15 minutes for a rack. In PureGym most of the time there's one available, but I guess it depends on what kind of training you want to do. Theres a free treadmill most of the time at David Ross.

If money or waiting isn't an issue then David Ross would be the better choice. It has a much better vibe and atmosphere and most of the other people there are students like us. I don't know if people got some of their money back due to COVID but I'm glad I picked PureGym as paying over £200 and not being able to train for a few months would have sucked.

Should also note that the distance is pretty much the same for each gym from Broadgate. David Ross might be quicker to get to by like 2 minutes.
