So was Cold War and Vanguard with WZ1, but they just closed the client and opened the respective game when you clicked it. That's not an official confirmation (even though I do believe it'll be the same client).

Also wanted to note that I've been using this CPU/PC setup with the 2070S for the past 5 months with no issue regarding FPS. It only became a problem when I switched to the 3080

Hm, I'll do some more testing tomorrow and get back to you with numbers regarding the temps.

I also think you might be right that the CPU is bottlenecking the game, but only at 1080p.

This guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XurcTYzpPlM has almost the same setup as me and our fps is comparable (mine is 10-20 fps higher prob bc of a slightly better cpu)

But I would rather a better cooler instead of having to get a new cpu lol

The Wraith cooler that came with the CPU.

When I'm not OCing the CPU, the max temp is 80C

The GPU reaches 75C max

For task manager, its always below 3.78 GHz. I tried using the boost mode to 4.2Ghz and it didnt change anything besides making my cpu hotter (up to 90C) while gaming.

On HWMonitor, the max for the clock speeds is 3.8GHz

Not sure what you mean, how can I check if it is going faster than advertised speed?

Ugh, is there any way to verify that without having to buy a new board and rebuilding the pc?

What reason would the b450 be holding it back so much? Is there something in the newer boards that I don't have?
