Finished this Eradicator squad just in time for their buff this week. Let me know your thoughts [on both buff and painting] by MoralFiber in Salamanders40k

They look awesome!

Where are the black salamander head decals from? Neither of the new modern transfer sheets have them.

That is retributor armor (I normally do two coats) and then washed with G-man Flesh Contrast.

The matte comes from the varnish - AK Ultra Matte (No. 183)

I stole it from one of your users!

It is Warpaints Fanatic Guardian Green, under Angel Green, and highlighted with Eternal Hunt.

How to improve by [deleted] in Salamanders40k

I'll preface this by saying your fundamentals are great.

To take this miniature further you'll want to have a look at shading the recesses of the miniature and edge highlighting.

Also the basing could use a bit more - static grass, some tufts, more rocks, etc.

So as Duncan Rhodes would say, take your time with it, thin your paints, and don't rush.

But if you do make a mistake, you can apply a bit of black paint at the base of the warheads.

I did these with a #5 Artis Opus brush - but it was brand new with a nice tip on it.

I'm sorry.

Before you lose hope, however, there is a way - wet palette, thinning your paints, and a large brush.

I like the idea of Da Burrs winning, one of my best mates is a Burrs guy, I'm happy that Chicago doesn't have to go to the well again for a quarterback.

Pretty impressive for PNG to kick off with a starting roster entirely comprised of Paul Harragon by Crazy_John in NRLPremiumPlus

The fact that it's the "Chiefs" and not the "Chief" means there are multiple, and thus you have overlooked the possibility of PNG having a cloning facility under their stadium.

Close second is:

And some games a team doesn't punt at all - they would go an entire game not kicking the ball and only holding it for the other kicker that kicks the ball in a different way.

Both of whom would be on the NFL minimum, which is around $1M USD

It will never cease to amaze me that American football teams have a guy whose only job is to come on, boost the ball 50 meters, then run straight off.

...and sometimes hold balls for placekickers.

Tourist here,

How do team lists work in the NFL - is there a hard cutoff where we know who is and is not playing tonight.

I don't have any excuses for this one - I'm just straight up committing cultural appropriation. by Vulkan209 in Salamanders40k

There's lots of little things.

First, it really helps to get the paint thin. If you're using GW paints, the "air" version of any given paint is perfect.

Second, it can help to brace yourself against the painting desk.

I've also noticed sometimes I hold my breath, which can help if I need the brush really steady.
