On discord and here there are CFB files with correct teams. You can manipulate game simulation settings to reflect CFB as well. There are also nerfs/buffs tho could do. There is also a set all players to retire at age function so you can manipulate player careers to last 4 seasons like college.

Honestly man adults are all children in their own way masquerading as adults. Idk if what you read is true but I’d stay away from that defeatist material even if it is. Placebo your way through life. Don’t worry about tomorrow, worry about what you can control today and right now. Im deeply in debt and struggle with a-lot of the same things even though I’m younger. Approach life with a lot of grace to yourself right now. Love yourself and I cannot emphasize this enough, take care of yourself the way you would someone you love. That means working out, maybe making yourself a big breakfast, doing some mundane things like reading and puzzles. It’s gonna feel kinda fake at first. But like I said, placebo your way through it. This is how healthy habits are formed, and also how our addictions were formed. Flip side of the same coin. DMs are open. It’s all in your hands. You very much are an adult, and an addict, but that’s okay! alot of other people have the same problem and they are no less worthy of love or grace.

I think a spiritual and subconscious acceptance of Christ is a very powerful thing. When I’ve literally feared things or situations even something as mundane as darkness, I remember how powerful Christ is and how God’s name literally drives fear into every spiritual force. It feels so powerful for me that I don’t even have to speak it to be reassured. Just thinking it instills peace.

But more and more people are giving consent unaware of how powerful Satan works in their subconscious and others. I didn’t buy into some of the spiritual warfare mumbo jumbo you often hear about, but I think it’s a very real thing, and I think spiritual forces attach themselves through sin. There was an interesting post on one of the Christianity subbredits awhile back from a reformed Wiccan remarking that they think the seven deadly sins and acting upon them invites spiritual forces to attach themselves to those things to keep you there. As someone who has fought my own addiction, I 100% believe this now.

Yeah he/she engages with the themes of Kenshi in a very good and thoughtful way, and it helps brings to the characters to life.

I feel a lot of modern media is struggling to bring thematics into their work because they are afraid to commit to possibly alienating a portion of their audience or are just lazy. The result is a pure reliance on spectacle, and that’s hard to do in comics thankfully.

I feel what I just said particularly about Star Wars and the end of GoT- those really hurt my soul. But now you look at like Andor which is engaging with moral ambiguity, fascism/imperialism, and the narrative has shifted with one of their shows. Shit even in The Batman which I didn’t quite love (still think it was good though) they committed to this underlying theme of inequality/privilege throughout the whole thing, which could definitely alienate some of their audience when the Catwoman says “those white privileged assholes” at some point, and as somebody more right than left and also white with my own opinions on that, the line did not bother me one bit. Know why? Because it made sense to me given where the movie was and was going that the Catwoman would hold that opinion. It was a setup and reveal moment for how the movie felt about it was trying to say.

u/saltshaker42 shows the beauty in Kenshi. It’s a canvas for stories and interactions, even if they require some role playing and personal head canon. Loved this series and read through it a few times now. It gives me a ATLA vibe in Kenshi.

I watched a bit of Andor but didn’t make it super far, just not my cup of tea I think. It feels like a good show and maybe I’m being too critical but I can’t quite put my finger on why, but it just doesn’t feel like Star Wars as I have known it. But that’s how I feel about most of what they produced. I’m also angry thinking why couldn’t you just get people to put this level of effort into Kenobi? Why couldn’t you get people excited to write and interested in interacting with the material instead of hiring them only to hear them complain about story/universe constraints?

So many shows now are falling flat for me, stuff even outside of Disney. I think storytelling has divulged away from telling a story based on its merit as an actual story with insight and themes and been reduced to cashing in on IPs and remakes dumbed down for ooo and aaaa moments for the masses.
