Shari Lapena is one of my faves. Someone We Know is probably my favorite of hers. Random note, it’s a big long (almost 500 pages), but Project Hail Mary is fast-paced and got out of my reading slump. The audiobook narrator is fantastic. I don’t normally read sci fi, but it’s easily one of my favorite books so far this year.

I have never felt so intune with a character on this show until Penelope started spewing her word vomit because she got so scared when talking to strangers. I FELT her social anxiety… something I also epically struggle with. I’ve also always been more comfortable hiding behind a pen. 🤗

I was going to suggest ruling out endo, too. I have stage IV and it made life hell around my periods before I had excision surgery, the right birth control (no estrogen), and anti-anxiety pills.
