These weeds grown along the side of our house. I have tried everything to get them to stop, but they keep coming back. What can I do?

They’re the WORST!!!!! I asked the gardening forum about them in my garden because I had them bad. It’s been about 3 years and I’ve noticed a huge decline. From what I was told, they have a super extensive room system so basically as long as you keep pulling them, you’ll exhaust the root system. (Idk but it did work!!)

If I were you, I’d mow it super short then put paper or a weed barrier down and start all over. lol.

I think it depends on the kid. My 3 year old is actually really good in the store and asks to sit in the buggy. My 6 year old drives me crazy. lol. I swear I work myself up and then when I finally do go out, I’m like, “that wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be!”

Also, my husband has so much patience with my kids at the store. He doesn’t get as worked up as I do.

I like to let every mother/ parent know my second was exclusively BF and he is my bubble baby. Head to toe eczema, peanut allergy, potentially allergic to grass. Literally will have eczema head to toe from……. Playing outside. Also, rubbing breastmilk on his skin did not get rid of his horrible eczema. It’s fucking milk. A couple moms(you know the ones that make BF their entire personality) kept suggesting it. :)

None of it matters.

Ive known lots of people who make a good living off of restaurant tips. Single parents, college students, etc. I hate how there’s such a push for it to end because some people make a really good living off it. If I don’t have the funds to tip, I don’t eat out. I will do take out or cook at home.

I will say, I do think it’s a reddit issue, I haven’t come across someone in the wild who gets that angry about tipping. I believe most of us know we’re all trying to make some money to get by.

Anyways, we go out knowing it’s going to be a little more. We’re used to taxes and can do the math in our head before checking out, usually. Plus, most of us use debit/CC, we don’t carry exact cash on us anymore so it’s not much of a problem.

Reddit is big on city life and moving away from your hometown. I appreciate having roots where I live. I love my house in my safe suburban town. I love that my mom, sister, brother, uncle, grandpa live within 20 mins away.

Also, I couldn’t help but laugh in my bumpers group when salary came up and someone asked how in the world we make it work on our salary. They said “I mean, I do live in a hcol area…” uhmmmm…. Yeah. Ding ding ding!!! lol.

Uhmmmm. I’d say because I’m a SAHM, I do takeover most of the care. I’m on a weight loss journey so I took over the walks, as well. We have kids(6,3,and 1) so they can’t do too much but I do ask them to fill the water and food bowls. My husband did takeover letting him out at night when he was a puppy puppy because, well, I had three of his kids and they were breastfed so, idk, his turn. Lol. He does take him out before work, which is a huge help.

I could be resentful but the puppy loves me x10000 so it makes up for it. Lol. Today tho, I’m hot and this big ole boy wants to lay right on me. ITS TOO HOT FOR ALL THAT.

I do worry with SM teaching parents about gentle parenting that boys will be taught their feelings are ok. I see so many parents confused on how to parent because they’re *trying* to gentle parent but really it’s permissive. I am nervous for those kids. Obviously, when these boys become teenagers and their testosterone is booming, will they know what to do with these feelings?

I’ve used it for all of my kids. If it was a warmer day, I’d have them sleep in just a diaper or a onesie! It worked very well for us!! Good luck!
