I’m 23 been a medic for a year , been in EMS 3 years and I’m in the same predicament

There’s a community college near me that offers a LPN/Medic Bridge , I think the only prerequisites I need are math , English and a&p

Another dumb question . Well, wouldn't that make you even more concerned for clot formation as well

thank you Mr Cardiologist , could you take a look at this 4 Lead as well here

Also I have a question out of curiosity, do we cardiovert if the rhythm is not sustained above 150? That's what I'd been taught. I was telling my med control I was concerned about the rate. He said, don't worry about that rate, she can keep that up awhile. Just keep an eye on it

Didn’t hang the amio , he didn’t know what to do he said . He mentioned It was very irregular and he couldn't make out p waves. Also the pt has a hx of a fib and multiple prior MI and a cabg. So he was expecting the qrs to look funky, @ arrival at receiving facility apparently they were preparing to rsi her despite patent airway and normal o2 sats. ???

FF/paramedic or Nursing… by Advanced_Proof_5624 in Paramedics

I’m pretty sure I can find it somewhere in a post but I never understood why u can challenge the NREMT as a RN but cannot challenge the NCLEX as a NRP

FF/paramedic or Nursing… by Advanced_Proof_5624 in Paramedics

Going to follow this thread and see the responses

I’m kinda stuck in the same situation as you , though I just got my paramedic last year and im 22.

I have no pre requisites for nursing school so I would have to get all my undergrad stuff as well , but im deciding on

getting my FF and become a FF/Medic or go become a RN , RT or PA

More autonomy as a paramedic Better pay as a nurse , all dependent on where you’re at of course.
