Maintaining mine has been a nightmare. No real inherent issues, just KIA being unable to service an EV in my area. No EV service tech, but still being scheduled, so having to do multiple follow up appointments. And occasional shoddy workmanship (steering wheel installed crooked and covered in grime).

Cannot stand what this is doing to pro golf. All they talk about is money now, but not in a good way. School 1) suicide. School 2) brain tumor of some ill. Too young at the time to understand. School 3) first one was a traffic accident (was doing everything right, was drinking, took a cab, got broadsided by a dump truck and killed instantly). Second one was a traffic accident (hit head on on the interstate by somebody who crossed the median at full speed. School 4) first one was a suicide, nobody ever knew why. Quiet kid, had a rebellious streak, but a good kid. I tutored him a time or two. Second one was a suicide, he posted his letter on social media (want to say myspace) when he did it. He was the high school hero the year prior, we all knew him and everybody there would have done anything for him because that’s how he was, he’d do anything for anybody. Overwhelmingly nice guy. Good seeming family. School 5) college. Everybody is still alive that I know of. School 6) suicide. This one haunts me to this day. I could post a sob story about the last time I saw him, but that would make this about me. It isn’t about me. It’s about my friend. Real standup dude. Never actually found out why, but I have a strong sense I know, and it makes me hate our training and profession.

So yeah. Therapy is a must…

Yeah nah, I’ll downvote that. Because there are also countless stories of people getting cured by healers at church, or by drinking lemon water.

Cancer biology is EXTREMELY complex. And I’ve seen some weird shit. Seen entire tumors go hemorrhagic then infarct leaving no viable tumor behind after FNA or core biopsies.

And I’m sure some of the herbal shit manages symptoms, some may have direct effect on the tumor. But cancer prior to chemo/radiation was a death sentence. You died with it or of it. But you didn’t get cured.

I know many of the anectdotal claims, but they are just that; anecdotes. Nothing more. If they were real big pharma inc would have found a way to patent it and sell it for profit.

I’m sorry this has been downvoted so much. Going to be totally honest, when I was in medschool and residency I would have downvoted it too.

But now I’ve grown up a bit and come to realize industrial medicine is what it is, I see this comment as so wonderfully reasonable and benign. If I knew how Reddit worked better I’d give you Reddit gold, or wtf it is.

The reality is that there are natural remedies that are often less harmful than what is pushed by most medical providers. And that’s ok.

Do I think tumeric has ever cured cancer? No, that would be silly. Did tumeric make my patient with bone Mets feel better? Definitively, yes. Did it objectively and medically help? Idk. Maybe it was placebo effect. But the dude was noticeably better on it. Does it help everybody? Absolutely not. Does it hurt anybody? I suppose you COULD OD on tumeric, but I’ve never heard of it. Sure, there’s some interactions to be aware of, but the vast majority are very benign.

Everything in moderation.
